Working with Nature

When you start working with the land in a co-operative way with nature she adds to your efforts and helps you along the way. This is one of the reasons organic food tastes better- you've allowed those extra natural goodies in, instead of blocking them out with chemicals.

Sprays

It's a common misconception that organic gardeners don't use sprays. In fact we use many different sprays on our plants, they just aren't harmful to the environment liks conventional sprays. See this section for recipes.

OM

Organic matter (referred to as "OM" in organics) is at the heart of good soil. Good composting and mulching are essential. Find some tips in this section.

Rotation and choice of plants

Rotating crops helps avoid disease, and choosing the right crop for the right place is important if you want nature to lend a hand.
